KSrelief Distributes Food, Sheltering Assistance in Yemen's Mairb


People impacted by flash floods in Marib, Yemen, are receiving emergency shelter and food from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).


Assistance in the form of food, 400 tents, and 430 shelter kits will be given to 1,842 families.


The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was thanked for their prompt assistance by the Deputy Governor of Marib, who also underlined the significance of this support in lessening the pain of the impacted families.



The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), located in Marib, Yemen, began offering food and emergency shelter to those impacted by the recent flash floods that struck the Marib Governorate of Yemen on August 14, 2024. Devastating losses in terms of both human life and material belongings have resulted from these disasters. Assistance in the form of food, 400 tents, and 430 shelter kits will be given to 1,842 families.The deputy governor of Marib, Dr. Abd Rabbu Miftah, thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief for its prompt assistance in supporting families affected by the thunderstorms and flooding. He emphasized how crucial this assistance is to lessening the suffering of the impacted families.This relief effort was started in response to a humanitarian plea made by Marib Governorate local officials to help those impacted by the region's flooding and precipitation. This reaction to the numerous crises and challenges the Yemeni people have experienced is the result of the Kingdom's long-standing commitment to helping them in their hour of need.
