Baghlan, Afghanistan, December 09, 2024 – In a significant humanitarian effort, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 100 shelter kits in Afghanistan on December 8, 2024, providing crucial support to 600 individuals in need. This initiative is part of the ongoing 2024 shelter project aimed at assisting returnees from Pakistan and communities affected by recent flooding in Afghanistan.

The distribution of shelter kits marks a key phase in a larger project that plans to deliver 4,882 essential shelter items across Afghanistan. These vital supplies include tents, blankets, plastic mats, and other necessary materials, benefiting a total of 29,292 people throughout the country. The shelter kits will provide much-needed relief to vulnerable populations, ensuring that families displaced by conflict and natural disasters have access to basic shelter and protection from the elements.

This project is part of KSrelief’s broader efforts to alleviate suffering and offer support to those affected by crises worldwide. As part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to humanitarian aid, the initiative reflects the Kingdom's dedication to providing relief to displaced and vulnerable populations, reaffirming its leadership in global humanitarian and relief efforts. Through these efforts, KSrelief continues to enhance the quality of life for those in dire need, contributing to the well-being of thousands of individuals across the globe.
