Baghlan, Afghanistan, December 09, 2024 – In a significant humanitarian effort, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 100 shelter kits in Afghanistan on December 8, 2024, providing crucial support to 600 individuals in need. This initiative is part of the ongoing 2024 shelter project aimed at assisting returnees from Pakistan and communities affected by recent flooding in Afghanistan.
The distribution of shelter kits marks a key phase in a larger project that plans to deliver 4,882 essential shelter items across Afghanistan. These vital supplies include tents, blankets, plastic mats, and other necessary materials, benefiting a total of 29,292 people throughout the country. The shelter kits will provide much-needed relief to vulnerable populations, ensuring that families displaced by conflict and natural disasters have access to basic shelter and protection from the elements.
