Beirut, November 20, 2024 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued its ongoing humanitarian efforts in Lebanon by distributing 705 clothing vouchers for winter clothing to Syrian and Lebanese orphans, as well as individuals with disabilities. The distribution, which took place in Lebanon's Dannieh and Central Bekaa regions, enables recipients to purchase essential winter attire from a network of approved stores, ensuring that vulnerable communities are better equipped to face the harsh winter conditions.
This distribution initiative is part of the third phase of the Kanaf 3 winter clothing project for 2024, an integral component of KSrelief’s broader efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to refugees and host communities in Lebanon. The program aims to alleviate the difficult living conditions faced by displaced Syrians and local Lebanese populations, particularly during the winter months when the need for clothing and warmth becomes critical.
The Kanaf 3 initiative reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing ongoing relief to those affected by displacement, demonstrating the Kingdom's continued support in addressing the humanitarian challenges in Lebanon. This distribution is one of many actions taken by KSrelief to support vulnerable populations, including providing shelter, food, medical aid, and educational resources to those in need across the region.
