The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed shopping vouchers in Mafraq, Jordan, enabling 375 individuals from 56 underprivileged families to select winter clothing as part of the Kanaf Winter Clothing Distribution Project for 2025.

Mafraq, Jordan, January 12, 2025 – In its continued efforts to provide essential humanitarian support, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed shopping vouchers in Mafraq Governorate, Jordan, on Friday, allowing beneficiaries to purchase winter clothing from designated stores. This distribution is part of the third phase of the Kanaf Winter Clothing Distribution Project for 2025, which aims to provide vital assistance to vulnerable families facing harsh winter conditions.

A total of 375 individuals, representing 56 underprivileged Jordanian families, directly benefited from the initiative. By offering shopping vouchers, the project gave these families the opportunity to select the clothing that best suited their needs, ensuring that they stay warm and protected during the cold winter months. The initiative is a clear example of how KSrelief's programs are designed to empower individuals while addressing urgent humanitarian needs.

The Kanaf Winter Clothing Distribution Project is part of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian efforts, implemented through KSrelief, which are aimed at supporting individuals and communities affected by difficult living conditions worldwide. This phase of the project in Jordan is particularly significant as it focuses on providing assistance to families who are most vulnerable to the harsh winter weather, which can have severe impacts on health and well-being, especially for those living in poverty.

This initiative reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to alleviating the suffering of those in need. By providing practical solutions to improve the lives of individuals facing extreme weather conditions, KSrelief continues to demonstrate its leadership in humanitarian aid. Through such projects, Saudi Arabia remains a vital partner in global relief efforts, standing in solidarity with communities in Jordan and other countries affected by difficult circumstances.

KSrelief's winter clothing distribution not only addresses immediate needs but also contributes to the long-term well-being of those it serves, helping to build resilience and ensure that families can better withstand the challenges posed by harsh winter conditions. This is just one of the many ways in which Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm, continues to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable populations around the world.
