KSrelief Implements Voluntary Open-Heart Surgery Project for Adults in Indonesia's Medan

Medan, Indonesia, October 07, 2024 — Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, the Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), has announced the commencement of a voluntary open-heart surgery project for adults in Medan, Indonesia, which began on October 1 and will continue until October 8, 2024. This important medical initiative involves the collaboration of 15 volunteers, each bringing specialized expertise from various medical fields to ensure high-quality patient care.


Since the project's launch, the dedicated KSrelief medical team has successfully completed three open-heart surgeries, demonstrating their commitment to addressing critical health needs in the region. This initiative is part of a broader series of voluntary medical projects conducted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aimed at providing essential medical assistance to those in need across the globe.
