Hajjah/Saada, Yemen, April 14, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been actively involved in implementing vital water supply and environmental sanitation projects across multiple districts in Yemen. Notably, these efforts have extended to Medi, Haradh, Hiran, and Abs in the Hajjah Governorate, as well as Al-Azhoor Camp in Razih District, Saada Governorate.
During the month of February, KSrelief successfully delivered 36,207,000 liters of usable water and 3,194,000 liters of potable water to communities in the Hajjah Governorate, significantly contributing to addressing water scarcity challenges in the region. Furthermore, the center conducted 237 transportation operations to efficiently manage waste removal from displaced camps, enhancing sanitation conditions and promoting public health.
In parallel, KSrelief's interventions in Saada Governorate resulted in the distribution of 290,000 liters of potable water and an additional 290,000 liters of usable water, directly benefiting 30,100 individuals. These initiatives underscore KSrelief's ongoing commitment to alleviating humanitarian crises and supporting vulnerable populations in Yemen by ensuring access to essential water resources and improving sanitation infrastructure.
