Al-Hudaydah, August 15, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is diligently carrying out the Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Project in Al-Khawkhah District in Al-Hudaydah. In the week spanning from July 19 to 25, 2023, a significant number of water-related activities took place to address pressing needs. A total of 441,000 liters of sanitary water were diligently pumped into reservoirs, ensuring a clean and safe water supply for the community. Additionally, an equal amount of 441,000 liters of water for domestic use were pumped, catering to the essential needs of households. In parallel, efforts were made to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in displaced persons camps. A commendable 32 shipments of waste were successfully removed from these camps, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for the residents. Furthermore, a total of 54 sanitation and water drainage operations were implemented, further contributing to the overall well-being of the affected population. A staggering 9,800 individuals have reaped the benefits of these exceptional services.
