KSrelief launches date distribution project in Brazil with FAMBRAS collaboration

Brasilia, March 07, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated a project to distribute 100 tons of dates in the Federal Republic of Brazil and neighboring South American countries in collaboration with the Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil (FAMBRAS). The inauguration of the project was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Brazil, Faisal Ghulam, and other officials.

The ambassador emphasized that this gift represents the ongoing support provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This support aims to assist nations and individuals globally through various types of humanitarian aid.

Praising the crucial role played by KSrelief, the ambassador highlighted the strong bond of friendship between Saudi Arabia and Brazil.

Under the project, 100 tons of dates will be distributed to the most needy groups in 20 Brazilian states, as well as 12 other countries in South and Central America, including Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Guyana, El Salvador, and Guatemala.

This aid is part of the relief projects initiated by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to provide food support to needy communities worldwide.
