KSrelief Launches Date Distribution Project in Chad

N'Djamena, December 1, 2023 - The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) initiated a crucial project yesterday, distributing 300 tons of dates in Chad for the year 2023. The launch event saw the presence of Saudi Deputy Ambassador to Chad Basil Al-Rayes, Chadian Secretary-General of the Ministry of Women, Child Protection, and National Solidarity Sharif Al-Lashi, along with representatives from non-governmental organizations in Chad.

This project is designed to benefit the neediest groups across nine Chadian states, including Beheira, Hadjer-Lamis, Kara, Batha, Eastern Mayokibi, Chari-Baguirmi, Uday, Logone Occidental, and N'Djamena. Additionally, Sudanese refugees in eastern Chad will also receive support through this initiative.

The distribution of dates underscores the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian commitment through KSrelief, reflecting its role in providing aid to various countries.
