KSrelief launches Etaam food basket project in Conakry, Guinea

Conakry, March 10, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated the Etaam food basket project for the year 2024 in Conakry, Republic of Guinea. Among the attendees were Dr. Fahad bin Eid Al-Rashidi, the Saudi Ambassador, Sheikh Ibrahim Osman Bah, the Minister of Religious Affairs-designate, the Deputy Mayor of Dixinn Municipality in Conakry, and the President of the Guinean Red Cross. The event also saw the participation of representatives from various international and local organizations, alongside a team from KSrelief.

The primary objective of the project is to distribute 6,270 food baskets containing essential items to support the most vulnerable families during the auspicious month of Ramadan in the year 1445 AH.

Ambassador Al-Rashidi underscored that this humanitarian assistance forms a crucial part of the relief efforts conducted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, spanning across nations affected by crises globally. He reiterated the leadership's unwavering commitment to aiding those in need and providing essential assistance.

Minister Sheikh Ibrahim Osman Bah conveyed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the Republic of Guinea for the invaluable support extended by Saudi Arabia across various critical domains. He conveyed the President's regards to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, commending KSrelief's humanitarian endeavors, particularly in bolstering food security during Ramadan.

This initiative is an integral component of Saudi Arabia's broader relief and humanitarian initiatives facilitated by KSrelief, aimed at extending assistance to countries facing adversity and ensuring food security for vulnerable populations.
