KSrelief Launches Noor Saudi Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness in Djibouti

Djibouti, December 10, 2023, In a proactive humanitarian endeavor, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) initiated the Noor Saudi Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness and related diseases in Djibouti from December 8 to 14, 2023. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with Al-Basar International Foundation.

During the campaign, the volunteer medical team from KSrelief addressed 675 cases, performed 127 surgeries, and distributed 175 pairs of eyeglasses. The program marks a significant facet of KSrelief's ongoing volunteer medical initiatives, which contribute to Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian support aimed at strengthening the global medical sector and providing assistance to individuals affected by various eye diseases. This initiative showcases the Kingdom's commitment to extending a helping hand to those in need on an international scale.
