Rabat, November 07, 2023, The Noor Saudi Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness and the Diseases That Cause It was launched on Sunday in Boulemane Province, Morocco, by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). In partnership with the Al-Basar International Foundation, the program runs from November 3 to November 10. The volunteer medical team at KSrelief has evaluated 1,345 patients, operated on 82 cataract patients, and given them 345 pairs of spectacles since the program's inception.
This program is a component of the volunteer medical efforts carried out by Saudi Arabia's humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to help those afflicted with eye ailments in underserved communities worldwide and to fight blindness and related illnesses.
