Mogadishu, December 25, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness and Diseases that Cause It in Garowe, the capital of Somalia’s Puntland. Implemented in collaboration with Al-Basar International Foundation, the program included medical examinations for 616 individuals, the distribution of 238 pairs of spectacles, and 158 specialized surgeries performed by the medical team of volunteers affiliated with KSrelief. This initiative is part of the Kingdom's projects, carried out through KSrelief, to assist people with vision problems in countries in need worldwide.
