Sefrou, October 21, 2024 — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is making significant strides in the fight against blindness and its underlying causes through the Saudi Noor Voluntary Project, currently underway in Sefrou city, Morocco, from October 17 to 24. This initiative represents Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing essential humanitarian support and enhancing healthcare services in underserved communities.
Since the campaign's launch, the dedicated KSrelief volunteer medical team has made remarkable progress, examining a total of 3,060 patients and successfully performing 36 specialized eye surgeries. Each of these surgeries has been completed without complications, showcasing the team’s expertise and the efficacy of the procedures provided. The project's focus on thorough examinations and high-quality surgical interventions underscores KSrelief's dedication to improving eye health and alleviating the burden of vision-related issues among low-income populations.
