KSrelief Launches Saudi Sama'a Program for Auditory Rehabilitation and Cochlear Implants in Türkiye’s Hatay Province

This initiative reflects KSrelief’s continued efforts, funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to deliver essential medical aid and support to underserved populations globally.
From September 6 to 13, 2024, KSrelief’s Saudi Sama’a Volunteer Program in Hatay Province, Türkiye, included 83 cochlear implant surgeries and the distribution of 250 hearing aids.

From September 6 to 13, 2024, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) carried out the Saudi Sama’a Volunteer Program in Hatay Province, Türkiye. During this period, KSrelief's medical team performed 83 cochlear implant surgeries, distributed and activated 250 hearing aids, and conducted auditory rehabilitation sessions with specialists. These sessions included guidance on the use of hearing aids and workshops for families on how to effectively communicate with children who received cochlear implants. This initiative is part of KSrelief’s broader efforts, funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to offer voluntary medical aid to underserved populations globally.
