KSrelief Launches Volunteer Medical Project for Burn and Disfigurement Victims in Türkiye

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched a volunteer medical project in Reyhanli, Türkiye, focusing on cosmetic surgery for burn and disfigurement victims, with the aim of improving their physical and psychological well-being.

Reyhanli, October 17, 2024 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has proudly launched a volunteer medical project aimed at providing cosmetic surgery for victims of burns and disfigurements in Reyhanli, Türkiye. This initiative underscores KSrelief’s commitment to addressing the needs of vulnerable populations affected by traumatic injuries.


As part of this project, the volunteer medical team conducted thorough assessments for 134 patients at diagnostic clinics. These evaluations were crucial in determining the specific medical needs of each individual, allowing for tailored treatment plans. In addition to providing medical prescriptions, the team successfully performed 16 specialized surgeries, significantly improving the physical appearance and psychological well-being of the patients.


This cosmetic surgery initiative is part of a broader array of volunteer programs organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, which aims to extend humanitarian assistance to those in need across various countries. By focusing on the rehabilitation of burn and disfigurement victims, KSrelief not only addresses immediate medical needs but also fosters hope and dignity for individuals who have suffered life-altering injuries.
