The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated a volunteer medical project focused on laparoscopic heart surgery for adults in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Running from November 24 to December 1, 2023, the project involves the participation of 16 volunteers with diverse medical specialties.
Utilizing cutting-edge laparoscopic and robotic devices for heart surgery, KSrelief's volunteer medical team has successfully conducted three high-quality surgeries during the program. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom's commitment to implementing volunteer medical projects in heart surgery globally, providing crucial healthcare interventions to underserved populations through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief.
