KSrelief launches volunteer medical project in Türkiye for orthopedics and more

Reyhanli, Türkiye, Jan 5, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated the volunteer medical project for orthopedics, prosthetics, physical therapy, brain, and nerves in the city of Reyhanli in the Republic of Türkiye. This project, running until January 8, involves the participation of 23 volunteers from various medical specialties. It is part of the Saudi Volunteer Life Program aimed at assisting those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Türkiye.

Since the commencement of the campaign, the volunteer medical team from KSrelief has conducted examinations for 262 individuals. Additionally, they provided 23 physical therapy sessions, 22 therapeutic consultations, installed five artificial limbs, and maintained five other limbs.

This project is one among various volunteer medical initiatives organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief. These initiatives exemplify the commitment of the Kingdom to extending humanitarian aid and support to people and nations in need across the globe.
