KSrelief medical team, led by Dr. Elghoneimy, conducts advanced open-heart surgery

Hadramout, September 28, 2023, A medical team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) was led by Dr. Yasser Elghoneimy, a professor of cardiology at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, to perform the first open-heart surgery using modern technology on a man in his 30s from Taiz Governorate, Yemen. The "Saudi Pulse" voluntary program for cardiac conditions and operations is being conducted in Al-Mukalla in the Hadramout Governorate and includes this help. This initiative is funded by KSrelief and aims to give low-income families who cannot afford the treatment access to open-heart and cardiac catheterization treatments.
