Hajjah, Yemen, September 8, 2024 — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued its crucial healthcare initiatives at the Waalan Camp for displaced persons in Harad District, Hajjah Governorate, Yemen. Over the period from August 14 to August 20, 2024, the mobile medical clinics operated by KSrelief provided essential medical services to a total of 98 beneficiaries.
During this week-long medical outreach, the clinics offered specialized care across several areas. The epidemic control clinic addressed the needs of 42 patients, focusing on the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. Meanwhile, the emergency clinic attended to 26 individuals requiring urgent medical attention. The internal medicine clinic served 18 beneficiaries with chronic and non-urgent medical conditions, while the reproductive health clinic provided care to 10 individuals, focusing on maternal and women’s health. Additionally, 2 visitors sought information and support at the awareness and education department, which plays a vital role in health education and community outreach.
