Hajjah, Yemen, August 28, 2024 — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues to make a significant impact in Yemen’s Abs District through its mobile clinics, providing essential healthcare services to local residents amidst ongoing humanitarian challenges.
In July 2024, KSrelief’s mobile clinics reached a total of 809 beneficiaries across various specialized services. The breakdown of these services includes 179 individuals receiving care at the communicable disease control clinic, where crucial interventions are made to manage and prevent the spread of infectious diseases. The emergency clinic attended to 335 patients, offering immediate care and stabilization for urgent health issues. The internal medicine clinic provided comprehensive treatment to 269 patients, addressing a range of chronic and acute conditions.
Additionally, the reproductive health clinic served 18 patients, focusing on maternal and reproductive health needs. The awareness and education clinic reached eight individuals, emphasizing the importance of health education and preventive measures.
The mobile clinics also delivered critical nursing services to 294 patients, ensuring ongoing care and support. Waste management activities were conducted on eight occasions, helping to maintain hygienic conditions and reduce health risks in the community. Medicines were dispensed to 786 patients, reflecting the essential role of pharmaceutical support in managing various health conditions.
