Hajjah, October 7, 2024 — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its vital mission to provide essential healthcare services in Yemen, recently operating mobile medical clinics in the Harad district of Hajjah Governorate. From September 11 to 17, 2024, these clinics served a total of 226 beneficiaries, reflecting KSrelief’s commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of vulnerable populations in the region.
During this period, the clinics delivered a comprehensive range of medical services tailored to the specific needs of the community. The epidemic disease control clinic treated 113 patients, playing a crucial role in combating infectious diseases that often threaten public health in the area. The emergency clinic provided immediate assistance to 63 beneficiaries, ensuring timely care for urgent health issues. Additionally, 33 patients received care at the internal medicine clinic, while the reproductive health clinic attended to 15 individuals, highlighting the center’s dedication to addressing both general and specialized health concerns.
Beyond primary medical care, KSrelief’s mobile clinics offered ancillary services that further enhance community health outcomes. The nursing services clinic catered to 61 individuals, providing essential care and support. Waste disposal activities were conducted twice during the week, underscoring the importance of sanitation in promoting overall health. Moreover, the surgery and dressing clinic treated seven beneficiaries, demonstrating the comprehensive approach to healthcare that KSrelief embodies. Medications were dispensed to 217 patients, ensuring that those in need received the necessary prescriptions for their ailments.
