Riyadh, September 21, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), represented by its digital media supervisor, Mishal Al-Mutairi, today participated via Zoom in a seminar titled, "Achieving the Goals of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Sustainable Development through Enhancing Partnerships for the Benefit of Youth."
The seminar included representatives of youth organizations from member states and officials from governmental and non-governmental institutions working in the field of youth. It was co-organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Saudi Ministry of Sports as part of the celebration of OIC Youth Day, observed annually on September 3.
During the seminar, Al-Mutairi highlighted the center’s efforts to enhance partnerships among youth and achieve sustainable development through humanitarian and relief projects in 102 countries. This includes the prosthetics program that has benefited over 26,000 individuals, helping them return to normal life, the rehabilitation program for child soldiers in Yemen, and the "Masam" project for clearing explosives in Yemen. He said that KSrelief has implemented 741 volunteer programs focused on humanitarian support, cultural communication, and educational, health, and environmental activities, engaging 63,339 volunteers who actively and positively participated in these programs, reflecting the significant involvement and commitment of youth in providing aid and assistance to those in need.
