Beirut, April 6, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) recently advanced the fourth phase of the Al Amal Charity Bakery initiative in Lebanon's Akkar governorate and Miniyeh district. Throughout the preceding week, KSrelief diligently distributed 25,000 bread bags daily, aimed at aiding Syrian and Palestinian families in distress within northern Lebanon, including members of the host community.
This concerted effort resulted in the provision of essential sustenance to a total of 62,500 individuals, effectively supporting 12,500 families during this critical period. The bakery's output significantly contributed to alleviating food insecurity and meeting the basic needs of vulnerable populations in the region.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's steadfast commitment to extending humanitarian aid and relief through KSrelief, particularly targeting refugees across various regions.
