Damascus, March 24, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 143 food baskets on Thursday in Qatana City, located in the Rif Dimashq Governorate of Syria.


This assistance provided essential food supplies to 620 individuals from 143 families as part of the "Etaam" Ramadan Food Basket Distribution Project for the year 1446 AH in Syria.


Now in its fourth phase, the "Etaam" project aims to deliver 390,109 food baskets across 27 countries during the holy month of Ramadan, benefiting a total of 2,304,104 individuals. The initiative comes at a cost exceeding SAR 67.64 million.


This effort is a key component of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian and relief initiatives, implemented through KSrelief, to support vulnerable communities and strengthen food security worldwide.
