As-Suwayda, January 20, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) took a significant step in supporting the people of Syria by distributing essential aid to families in the city of As-Suwayda on Friday. In coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, KSrelief provided 160 families with vital supplies, including bags of rice, flour, and personal-care kits, benefiting a total of 543 individuals. This aid delivery is part of a broader food distribution project aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the Syrian population, particularly those affected by years of conflict and economic instability.
The distribution reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian efforts in the region, with KSrelief playing a central role in providing life-saving assistance to those in need. The bags of rice and flour will help meet the nutritional needs of the families, while the personal-care kits are designed to improve hygiene and overall well-being. By targeting vulnerable communities in regions like As-Suwayda, KSrelief aims to ensure that the most disadvantaged individuals receive the support necessary to rebuild their lives.
This assistance is just one example of Saudi Arabia's extensive humanitarian programs, which are implemented by KSrelief as part of the Kingdom's broader efforts to support the Syrian people. Over the years, KSrelief has provided critical aid across various sectors, including food, healthcare, shelter, and education, helping to mitigate the suffering of those impacted by the ongoing crisis in Syria. Through these initiatives, Saudi Arabia continues to demonstrate its solidarity with the Syrian people and its dedication to easing the human suffering caused by conflict and displacement.
