Homs, January 23, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully carried out a vital humanitarian initiative in the city of Al-Rastan, Homs Governorate, Syria, as part of its continued support for the country’s most vulnerable communities. In this latest distribution, KSrelief provided essential relief materials to 538 individuals from 113 families, ensuring they received much-needed assistance to ease the hardships they face due to ongoing crises.
The relief efforts included the distribution of 98 food baskets, which are designed to meet the immediate nutritional needs of the affected families. Additionally, 113 bags of flour were provided to support local food production and ensure a continued food supply for families. As part of its comprehensive relief approach, KSrelief also distributed 15 winter kits, which will help families withstand the harsh winter conditions in the region. Furthermore, 15 personal care kits were given to ensure hygiene and sanitation for the families, improving their overall well-being during difficult times.
This initiative reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment to providing humanitarian aid and support to Syria’s people, especially in areas most impacted by conflict. Through KSrelief, the Kingdom continues to deliver targeted relief in a variety of sectors, from food and health to shelter and sanitation, aiming to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable populations and help rebuild their lives.
