RIYADH, April 4, 2025: The Kingdom’s humanitarian agency, KSrelief, continues to provide vital assistance to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

In Yemen, KSrelief delivered the fourth batch of dialysis solutions and medical supplies for kidney patients in Al-Mukalla district, Hadramout governorate.

Hadramout Assistant Deputy Gov. Fahmi Badhawi emphasized the significance of these supplies and expressed appreciation to Saudi Arabia for its ongoing support of Yemen’s healthcare sector and humanitarian efforts.

This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader commitment, through KSrelief, to delivering medical services to patients and the injured while enhancing Yemen’s healthcare infrastructure, according to SPA.

Meanwhile, in Syria, KSrelief distributed food baskets to 155 families in Sahnaya town, Rif Dimashq governorate, benefiting 769 individuals. Additionally, the agency provided clothing parcels to 140 families in Aleppo governorate.

In Lebanon, KSrelief supplied food baskets to 828 families across Western Bekaa, Akkar, and Dannieh, as well as 467 food baskets in Beirut, assisting a total of 2,335 people.

In Sudan, KSrelief distributed 2,000 food baskets to displaced and vulnerable families in Berber locality, River Nile State, reaching 12,811 beneficiaries, and another 800 food baskets in Jebeit, Red Sea State, benefiting 4,720 people.

Since its establishment in May 2015, KSrelief has executed 3,389 projects valued at nearly $7.9 billion across 106 countries, collaborating with over 300 local, regional, and international organizations.

A recent KSrelief report highlights the countries and territories receiving the most aid: Yemen ($4.5 billion), Palestine ($514 million), Syria ($479 million), Somalia ($235 million), and various other nations totaling $929 million.

The agency's programs focus on key humanitarian sectors, including food security, early recovery, water sanitation and hygiene, healthcare, camp coordination, education, protection, emergency relief, nutrition, and logistics and telecommunications.
