Beirut, November 22, 2024 – In a continuing effort to support vulnerable populations during the harsh winter months, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the third phase of its Winter Clothing Distribution project in Lebanon. This phase includes the distribution of 300 purchase coupons to orphans and individuals with disabilities in the Akkar region.
The coupons, which are redeemable at a selection of approved local stores, provide recipients the flexibility to purchase winter clothing of their choice, helping them stay warm during the cold season. This initiative is a part of the larger Kanaf3 project for 2024, which aims to alleviate the burdens faced by marginalized groups in Lebanon as they struggle with the challenges of winter.
KSrelief's continuous efforts to assist those in need are part of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian mission, which extends across the Middle East. By distributing winter clothing and other essential aid, the Kingdom strives to offer relief to Lebanon's most vulnerable communities. This project is one of many relief initiatives provided by KSrelief to ease the hardships faced by the less fortunate, ensuring that they can endure the severe winter conditions with dignity and hope.
The Kanaf3 initiative exemplifies KSrelief's commitment to addressing the needs of orphans, the elderly, and those with disabilities, ensuring that they receive the care and assistance they require during difficult times. It highlights Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian efforts, which focus on improving the quality of life for vulnerable groups, both within its borders and internationally.
