The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to humanitarian aid with its ongoing water supply and environmental sanitation project. This vital initiative covers several areas, including the Midi, Haradh, Hayran, and Abs districts in Hajjah Governorate, as well as the Al-Azhour camp in the Razih district of Saada Governorate.
In the month of July, the project made significant strides in improving water access and sanitation for affected communities. In Hajjah Governorate alone, a remarkable 41,663,000 liters of usable water and 4,343,000 liters of drinkable water were successfully distributed. Additionally, 156 trips were undertaken to manage and remove waste from the camps housing displaced persons, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for the residents.
In Saada Governorate, the efforts continued with the provision of 210,000 liters each of drinking water and usable water, benefitting approximately 30,100 individuals. This comprehensive approach not only addresses immediate needs but also contributes to the overall well-being and stability of these communities.
