Khartoum, January 31, 2024, In order to kick off the second phase of the food security support project in the Nile River State and Northern State of the Republic of Sudan, relief convoys from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) have arrived.
Major General Abdul Mahmoud Hammad Hussein, the acting governor of Nile River State, commended the humanitarian and relief initiatives and programs that the Kingdom—represented by KSrelief—offered to the Sudanese people.
He also praised the Kingdom's policy of support for Sudan in a number of areas.
This is under the umbrella of the humanitarian and relief initiatives that the Kingdom, via KSrelief, its humanitarian body, is carrying out to help the people of Sudan in the midst of their current humanitarian catastrophe.
