KSrelief's Masam Project Clears 694 Mines in Yemen, Totaling Over 423,000 Disarmed Mines

Ahmed Saleh

In a significant achievement, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Masam Project successfully dismantled 694 mines in Yemen during the fourth week of November. The disarmed explosives included 4 anti-personnel mines, 102 anti-tank mines, and 588 unexploded ordnance. Since its inception, the Masam Project has cleared a staggering total of 423,036 mines.

The initiative, representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, is dedicated to the noble cause of eliminating all mines from Yemeni lands. These mines have tragically caused harm and casualties, particularly among innocent children, women, and the elderly. The ongoing efforts underscore Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering safety and well-being in the affected regions.
