Aden, Februray 05, 2024, In an effort to remove mines in Yemen, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) demolished 731 mines between January 27 and February 2, 2024. These consist of 12 explosive devices, 622 unexploded ordnance, 93 anti-tank mines, and 4 anti-personnel mines.A grand total of 431,054 mines have been cleaned since the operation began.The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, is dedicated to removing all mines from Yemeni territory that have sadly caused fatalities and serious injuries to defenseless women, children, and the elderly.
