Aden, November 20, 2023, In a continued effort to enhance safety and alleviate the humanitarian impact in Yemen, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Masam project successfully dismantled 873 mines in the third week of November. This included 113 anti-tank mines and 755 unexploded ordnances. Since the project's initiation, a remarkable 422,342 mines have been disarmed, reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment, through KSrelief, to clear Yemeni lands of these deadly devices. The project's overarching goal is to protect innocent civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, who have tragically suffered from the consequences of landmines in the region.
