Hajjah, Yemen, April 13, 2024, In February 2024, the Mobile Medical Clinic operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) in Yemen's Hajjah Governorate played a crucial role in providing medical services to 2,072 beneficiaries. During this period, the clinic's various departments worked tirelessly to address the healthcare needs of the local population.
The epidemiological diseases clinic was instrumental in treating 551 patients, while the emergency clinic responded to 620 individuals in need of urgent medical attention. The internal medicine clinic served 879 beneficiaries, and the reproductive health clinic handled 14 cases related to reproductive health issues. Additionally, the awareness and education department provided valuable assistance to 8 beneficiaries by raising awareness about health-related issues.
In parallel, the nursing services department played a pivotal role by treating 825 patients and conducting two waste disposal activities to maintain a hygienic environment. Furthermore, they dispensed medications to 1,927 individuals, ensuring access to essential medicines. The surgery and dressing department also contributed significantly by providing services to 55 beneficiaries, highlighting the comprehensive nature of the medical support offered by KSrelief in Yemen.
