Socotra, November 21, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), headquartered in Riyadh, successfully executed a medical project for pediatric surgery and urology in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate. Running from November 12 to 19, 2023, the initiative involved the dedicated efforts of 17 volunteers representing various medical specialties.
Throughout the campaign, KSrelief's medical team conducted 372 tests for needy patients, showcasing their commitment to comprehensive healthcare. Notably, the team performed 18 urinary surgeries and 12 other pediatric surgeries, all of which were crowned with complete success.
This project serves as an extension of KSrelief's ongoing commitment to implementing volunteer medical projects across various specializations, aimed at providing crucial medical assistance to individuals and families with limited income in countries facing significant needs. The success of this endeavor highlights the positive impact of humanitarian efforts in addressing healthcare disparities in underserved regions.
