Aden, October 09, 2023, 730 mines, including 85 anti-tank mines and 125 unexploded ordnances, were demolished as part of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Project (Masam) to clear mines in Yemen during the first week of October 2023. There have been as many as 417,833 mines decommissioned since the project's inception. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wants to remove the mines from Yemeni territory through KSrelief. Tragically, these mines have resulted in the deaths and injuries of defenseless children, old people, and women.
