KSrelief signs $1.813 million agreement for nutritional clinics in Yemen

Riyadh, December 13, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a cooperation agreement valued at US$1.813 million with a civil-society group to operate nutritional clinics in Yemen’s Hodeidah governorate. The initiative aims to benefit 122,908 individuals, including those displaced or affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the host community in the governorate.

Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs, signed the agreement at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh. The objective of the agreement is to safeguard the lives of displaced individuals by providing comprehensive nutritional healthcare services and reducing morbidity and mortality rates among them.

The agreement includes providing reproductive health services, medical examinations for children, treating and preventing epidemic diseases, raising health awareness, and supplying medications, medical and laboratory fluids, and medical equipment. This initiative is part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief projects conducted through KSrelief to support the medical sector and provide assistance to patients worldwide.
