KSrelief Signs Cooperation Agreement with WHO to Support Humanitarian Efforts in Ukraine

KSrelief signed a $2 million cooperation agreement with WHO to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine during UNGA 79 in New York.

New York September 27, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed on Thursday a cooperation agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO) aimed at supporting the organization's humanitarian efforts in Ukraine with a value of $2 million. This took place on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which was held in New York City.


 The agreement was signed by the Advisor at the Royal Court and KSrelief Supervisor General, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, and WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.


 This agreement is part of KSrelief's efforts to enhance joint coordination with UN organizations and its humanitarian agencies. It aims to support those in need and affected around the world during various crises and hardships.
