KSrelief signs video conference-based agreement to aid earthquake-affected Syrian families

Riyadh, September 25, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a cooperative agreement with a civil-society organization through a video conference to support and repair homes of earthquake-affected families in Syria. The focus of this partnership is the rehabilitation of 432 homes that sustained moderate to minor damage in the earthquake, as well as providing temporary housing solutions for the most affected families. These residences and temporary housing units will be outfitted with essential amenities like solar panels for electricity, modern water tanks, and proper ventilation. The initiative is anticipated to assist more than 3,000 individuals living in six Aleppo villages. This agreement is an extension of Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to offering assistance to earthquake victims in Syria through the efforts of KSrelief.
