KSrelief starts program in Al Mahrah for families' support

Al-Mahrah, March 12, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has launched a comprehensive program in the Al Mahrah Governorate aimed at aiding families grappling with the loss of their breadwinner. This initiative involves training 50 families in a diverse array of valuable skills, including electrical work, mobile repair, crafting incense, perfumes, and sweets, hairdressing, accessory making, henna art, sewing, and embroidery.

The primary objective of this project is to empower orphaned families by equipping them with sustainable avenues for generating income. In addition to professional skills training, the program offers essential support in livelihood, education, and healthcare. Ultimately, the aim is to facilitate self-sufficiency for 440 families and ensure access to education for 1,300 orphans.

This initiative underscores the Kingdom's steadfast commitment to aiding orphans and enhancing their quality of life across Yemen, demonstrating its ongoing dedication to humanitarian efforts in the region.
