Islamabad, October 09, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) initiated a project to distribute shelter materials and winter bags to individuals affected by flooding in various regions of Pakistan for the year 2023-2024. Approximately 350,000 people will benefit from this endeavor.
The official launch ceremony took place at the Saudi embassy in Islamabad and was attended by prominent figures, including Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, Pakistan's Minister of Religious Affairs and Inter-Religious Harmony Aneeq Ahmad, Dr. Khalid Al-Othmani, the Director of KSrelief's branch in Pakistan, and other dignitaries.
Ambassador Al-Maliki emphasized that this project aligns with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. It reflects the Kingdom's steadfast commitment to supporting the people of Pakistan. He further noted that this assistance underscores the leadership's dedication to standing by the Pakistani people during times of crisis and adversity.
These initiatives exemplify Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment, as represented by KSrelief, to provide humanitarian support to regions and communities grappling with crises.
