Mogadishu, April 09, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated the distribution of Zakat Al-Fitr assistance in the Federal Republic of Somalia for the year 1445 AH (2024). A total of 40,920 bags of rice, amounting to 818.5 tons, are being dispatched to support 245,520 individuals from 40,920 disadvantaged families residing in various cities across Somalia.
This humanitarian assistance is a crucial component of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing relief efforts, orchestrated through KSrelief, to extend aid to countries and populations facing hardship worldwide. The distribution of essential supplies like rice underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to alleviating the suffering of those in need and providing humanitarian support on a global scale.
