Jeddah, October 26, 2024 — Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), held talks with Joyce Msuya, UN Acting Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator. The meeting, conducted on the sidelines of the OIC Donor Conference to Support Displaced Persons and Refugees in the Sahel and Lake Chad region, focused on strengthening cooperation in relief efforts and addressing shared humanitarian goals.
Their discussions covered a range of key issues from the conference, particularly in enhancing support for displaced persons and vulnerable communities in crisis regions. Msuya commended Saudi Arabia’s prominent role in global humanitarian relief, recognizing KSrelief’s impactful initiatives that work to ease the suffering of refugees and vulnerable groups worldwide.
