Washington, November 16, 2024 – Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) and Advisor at the Royal Court, was honored with the prestigious Global Leadership Award in the field of health and humanitarian efforts. The award was presented by H. Delano Roosevelt, President and CEO of the National Council on US-Arab Relations, during a special ceremony held in Washington.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Al Rabeeah emphasized that the award was not merely a personal achievement, but a recognition of the collective efforts of all workers in the humanitarian and health sectors within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He acknowledged the tireless contributions of individuals across the Kingdom who have worked to bolster Saudi Arabia’s reputation on the global stage, particularly in areas such as charitable initiatives, humanitarian aid, and healthcare.
Dr. Al Rabeeah attributed much of the Kingdom’s success in these fields to the unwavering support of the leadership of Saudi Arabia, particularly Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He highlighted the critical role of the leadership's constant encouragement of innovation, excellence, and creativity within the Kingdom’s public and private sectors.
He further noted that the Kingdom’s achievements are a direct result of a clear, ambitious vision, which is realized through swift action and tangible outcomes. Dr. Al Rabeeah credited the Kingdom’s rise to global prominence in humanitarian and health domains to the dedication and commitment of its citizens, who have been empowered by the Kingdom's leadership to make meaningful contributions to the world.
The Global Leadership Award presented to Dr. Al Rabeeah recognizes Saudi Arabia’s exceptional role in global humanitarian efforts, with KSrelief playing a central part in the Kingdom’s ongoing mission to provide relief and assistance to vulnerable populations worldwide. Through this recognition, the National Council on US-Arab Relations continues to highlight the impact of Saudi Arabia’s leadership in fostering international cooperation and advancing global health and humanitarian goals.
