Jeddah, October 26, 2024 — Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), met with Carl Skau, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the World Food Programme (WFP). The meeting took place during the OIC Donor Conference to Support Displaced Persons and Refugees in the Sahel and Lake Chad region, with discussions focusing on the latest developments in joint KSrelief-WFP projects that aim to deliver vital food aid and improve living conditions in vulnerable communities.
The officials also reviewed key topics from the conference, sharing insights on strategies to enhance the effectiveness of humanitarian aid efforts in crisis-affected areas. Skau praised Saudi Arabia’s robust humanitarian contributions through KSrelief and commended the successful organization and productive discussions at the conference.
