Their purpose? To conduct an insightful exploratory visit aimed at assessing and investigating the potential need for the implementation of volunteer medical programs within the nation's hospitals and health centers. This endeavor seeks to shed light on the crucial matter of healthcare provision and ascertain the viability of such initiatives in the Dominican Republic.
In a significant diplomatic encounter, the team had the privilege of meeting the esteemed Deputy Minister for International Cooperation of the Dominican Republic at the Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Development. The Deputy Minister graciously extended a warm welcome to the team and conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, for their commendable humanitarian initiative aimed at assisting the Dominican Republic.
