6th June 2024, Gaborone [DATE] From the 2nd to the 6th of June, a medical team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, consisting of KSrelief volunteers, visited Botswana. They met with officials from the local government and the health care sector to familiarize them with the center's global humanitarian efforts. The tour's objective was to assess the viability of initiating volunteer medical programs, as well as determine which medical specialty is most in need and assess the readiness of health-care institutions. These activities are part of the volunteer programs that the Kingdom is offering through the center in order to encourage the improvement of medical services for patients and to support the health sector in nations that are underserved.
