Riyadh, December 8, 2023, The local competition for memorizing the Holy Quran in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan reached its culmination yesterday, organized through the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in conjunction with the Religious Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan. The event witnessed the participation of 27 dedicated memorizers, all vying for excellence in Quranic recitation. Notably, the competition was conducted under the auspices of the esteemed Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Ibrahim bin Radhi Al-Radhi.
The journey to this final stage began with the preliminary qualifiers, initiated on November 16 across seven governorates and two cities. This expansive and inclusive approach allowed participants from various regions to showcase their proficiency in memorizing the Holy Quran, fostering a spirit of unity and competition among the contestants.
The competition not only serves as a platform to recognize and celebrate the commitment of individuals to memorizing the sacred text but also highlights the collaborative efforts between Saudi Arabia and Kyrgyzstan in promoting religious and cultural activities.
