Beirut, February 2, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities through the Subul Al-Salam Social Association’s Ambulance Service in northern Lebanon. Over the past week, the ambulance service has successfully completed 61 missions, providing crucial medical transportation and assistance to Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well as members of the local host community in the Miniyeh District.
These missions have included the safe transport of patients to and from hospitals, as well as emergency treatment for burn injuries in the Miniyeh area, where healthcare services are often limited. The initiative reflects KSrelief's ongoing efforts to address the critical medical and humanitarian needs of displaced populations in Lebanon, ensuring timely medical care and improving access to essential health services.
This initiative is part of a broader project aimed at supporting ambulance services and medical transport for both refugees and local residents in Lebanon’s most vulnerable areas. By enhancing the medical infrastructure and transport systems in refugee-hosting regions, KSrelief seeks to alleviate the burden on local healthcare facilities and improve the quality of care for those in need, especially in times of crisis.
KSrelief’s unwavering support for Lebanon's humanitarian efforts is a testament to Saudi Arabia’s dedication to providing life-saving aid to communities affected by conflict and displacement, reinforcing the Kingdom's leadership in global humanitarian relief efforts.
